Candyce Clark, Office Manager/Treasurer - Candyce was hired on March 14, 1996, and just celebrated her 27th year anniversary with the District. Candyce is responsible for the complete administrative functions of the office including accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly water and sewer billing, monthly financials, as well as, maintaining the official records of the District. Candyce also provides support to the Los Alamos CSD Board of Directors, General Manager and works with Developers, Attorney and CPA. Candyce is also the Treasurer and Secretary to the Board of Directors. Candyce reports directly to the District's Board of Directors. Refugio Chavez, Operator Grade II - Refugio was hired on May 5, 1997, and just celebrated 26 years with the District. Refugio is certified as a Grade II Water Distribution Operator, a Grade I Water Treatment Operator, a Grade I Sewer Collection Operator and a Grade II Wastewater Treatment Operator. Refugio is responsible for all facets of Operation and Maintenance within the District's Water and Wastewater System, including Well sites, Water Tanks, Distribution System, Ferrini Park, Wastewater Treatment Plant and Sewer Collection System.  Congratulations on 26 years of service Refugio!!
Jenna Roddie, Customer Service Representative - Jenna was hired on December 9, 2019, as a Customer Service Representative for the District. Jenna works part-time, two days per week, in the front office assisting the Office Manager with the administration functions of the District. Jenna went to Santa Barbara City College and has a background in bookkeeping and financial accounting. Jenna processes information, maintains customer accounting and customer service records, takes and posts payments, answers the telephone and staffs the front desk to greet customers and the public. Luis Uribe, Lead Operator - Luis was hired on March 20, 2019, and just celebrated his 4th year anniversary with the LACSD.  Luis completed his Sacramento State University Home Study Course in Wastewater Treatment and received his Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Grade I Certification in November 2022. In February 2023, Luis passed his Water Distribution Grade I Exam and in March 2023 was promoted to Lead Operator. Luis is responsible for all facets of Operation and Maintenance within the District's Water and Wastewater System, including Well sites, Water Tanks, Distribution System, Ferrini Park, Wastewater Treatment Plant and Sewer Collection System.   Under the direct supervision of Juan Ramon Gomez, the LACSD's General Manager, Luis performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and construction work involving the water and wastewater facilities.  He also performs water quality tasks and completes additional related work as assigned by the General Manager.
Juan "Ramon" Gomez, General Manager/Chief Plant Operator - Ramon began his career with the Los Alamos Community Services District in October 2003 progressively achieving California State certifications in Wastewater III, Wastewater Distribution II, Water Treatment II and Collection Systems II. Proficient in; Confined Space, CPR & First Aid, Traffic Control, Flagger, Silica Sand Safety, Asbestos Cement Safety, Underground Utility Dig Alert, Lead and Copper, Leak Detection, Trenching and Excavations Safety, Tractor Operation and Safety training, Defensive Driving, Laboratory Sample Techniques, Conventional Water Treatment Plants, Water Well Protection, Emergency Training, Water Distribution Reviews, Water Treatment Reviews, Waste Water Reviews, ACWA JPIA Sexual Harassment training, Supervisor Training, Human Resources and Operations. Ramon briefly worked for the City of Buellton in Water/Waste Water Operations from June 2019 to January 2021, continuing his professional development with the LACSD.   You can reach Ramon at jrgomez@losalamoscsd.com.
